This is a very important question as I have found it to be quite
critical. If the source is a cam recorder, you can feed this
directly into iMovie (as I understand) or if you have a number of
jpegs these can be easily dropped into the created project; on the
other hand, if you are taking it off an existing DVD this is much
more tricky - as I have found out by personal experience in trying to
edit a DVD recording (to cut out commercials) which involves another
programme - I have found the best programme to be Cinematize... so it
all depends on what you want to do...
