Something I found out by mistake is that my Mac automatically makes a
low res copy and puts that in iphoto as a thumbnail for me. It also
saves the original and any changes made in iphoto don't change the
original. Trashing from the desktop is different, that's why I like
my iphoto, now that I am learning all it's little
idiosyncrasies...Doug
