This is a Mac world, the chances of you having a Virus is virtually  
nil, unless you are running Windoze.
It is much more likely that you either have a software conflict, or  
you need to run Disk Utility in Applications & check permissions, or  
you simply need more memory.
It really helps if you tell us what Mac O/S, memory & when the  
problem actually occurs.
