There are quite a few apps available to do all kindsa manipulation of
sound files. But, to start simply with something that you prolly have
already -- iTunes?
So, maybe play yer MP3 in iTunes and note the (time) point at which
you want to end it. Then do a "get info" on the file. In "options"
there is a place to set the "stop" time. Make your change here.
