No, I don't think there is any problem at your end.  I have had a similar
problem with Look - usually on right away with no problems; but occasionally
it takes 6 or more tries!!  I think that the problem is simply that the ISP
has too many customers - most of the time they have enough 'ports' to handle
the number of users at that time.  But just once in a while (in the evening
in my case) a lot of users are on and all the 'ports' are busy - like when
you call an organisation and they tell you to hold on until an operator is
available!!!  So eventually when you continue to try connecting to the ISP,
someone completes and, voilla, you get in!!  All I can say is hang in there
and hopefully it will clear itself.
