My computer is the new iMac 700 flat screen - it is a G4. Re the USB
cable - the end of the cable that was plugged into the computer was
USB. However, the end that went into the printer went into what was
called a "Parallel Port. When I spoke to Mac outpost I was told I
needed a cable that had the usual USB port on both ends and the end
that was plugged into the printer went in to the USB Port outlet. Hope
this clarifies what I was saying.
