I have the new flat screen IMac with system OS 10.2 on it. After I got
it I had a lot of problems printing. I could print in OS 9, but not OS
10. I downloaded the driver for my printer for the OS 10, and it still
wouldn't recognize the printer and it kept saying that I had to turn on
Apple talk. I finally went to Mac Outpost and they sorted the problem
out for me. Not that this could be the problem that you have, but my
problem was the cable from the printer to the computer. It wasn't USB,
and that was all the problem was. The cable was changed and away I
went. No more problems - prints from Classic, OS 10 and OS 9. Hope this
helps.
And by the way, speaking of Mac Outpost. When I was in there a couple
of weeks ago, I was talking to one of the fellows and mentioned MUGLO
to him. He told me that they are putting a package together for MUGLO
and suggested that if I wanted to mention it to you to please do. Don't
know if you have heard anything from them yet. But that was what I was
told - no time frame though. Hope they come through.
