[muglo] a bunch of stuff

1) I'm looking for some extra VRAM for my sons 8100. Just attached a 17
inch monitor and would like to get some mulitsync sizing out of it.
2) The history of the Wall Street powerbook-dropped is too long to tell,
but basically just about everything has been replaced; new 12.1 inch
screen, new hinge, new floppy drive module, new plastic, new keyboard.
Presently it won't boot if the power cord is plugged into it. It will
boot to a system CD from the battery, but the internal drive won't mount.
It will cost too much to search for exactly what the problem is and I am
wondering just what to do with it. Hoping I can fix it cheap.
I am daydreaming that a spare power supply might fall into my hands and
we could see if that is the problem. Maybe the internal drive is dead
too? who knows?
Or maybe I should consign it to parts. The CD drive, battery, hinge,
screen, keyboard, plastics are all good. Mother board still good? likely.
3) Does anyone have a nice big Gumdrop iMac? I have an iDock with the
floppy drive and a bunch of ports on the back.
4) Laserwriter 320. Anyone? Prints a dark streak down one side. Likely
needs a new imaging drum. Was given to me and I thought I would yank the
toner cartridge to use in the Laserwriter 300 my son uses (used) at
school to print from the now dead powerbook.
