Just a heads up. I just picked up a DLink WBR-1310 Wireless G Router,
54 Mbps, from Staples; Future Shop have same; for $70 & it worked
right out of the box. Software was, of course, for PCs, but it does
say "Mac O/S 10.4/10.3" & instructions say run the Bin/docs folder on
the CD disc. Could not get a response from typing in 192.168.0.1 in
Safari, but found I was not alone as there are sites galore with the
same issue, however seeing all the right lights light up on the
router, connected to my GNet Modem/router, I simply turned on Airport
on my G5 iMac and "DLink" appeared as a network. Unhooked my Ethernet
cable & Presto it auto magically worked. Ah, the power of the Mac!
Hope this helps someone.
TTFN,
TeeC
