I'm quite confused on this count. A .ca registration costs
~$20-30/year (depending on registrar), $50 if you go with one of the
rip off/full service joints, and many registrars (registeryour.ca for
e.g.... my favourite ;-) provide DNS look up services for free as part
of your registration.
