I have been using MacMail for about a year now without your problem. I
have set up as exemptions under Junk Mail Tab in Mail Preferences :
sender is in "address book" or "my previous recipient". also have it
in "Training Mode", though for some reason it finishes up in my Junk
Mailbox rather than in the "in" Box??

Anyway it does what I want!!
