[muglo] Warning re AppleMail!

The Yahoos at Apple ?
A heads up to users of Apple Mail.

Getting fed up with a barrage of Spam entreating me to buy Viagra ( how 
do they know I'm a decommissioned male senior :-) !?)  I established a 
Rule redirecting all this mail,  usually coming from a Yahoo address, 
to a Yahoo junk mail folder with the direction to file there any mail 
containing the word Yahoo in the address.
For the past week or more , AppleMail misfunctioned , and diligently 
sent ALL my email , irrespective of address, to this junk mail folder . 
   It's taken a day of distress and messing around to discover where the 
fault lay.

Contacts started asking why I hadn't replied etc .  This confirms my 
suspicions that AppleMail isn't the greatest programme for filtering ! 
This malfunction, plus other past problems , has convinced me to switch 
to Entourage
