I have been having second thoughts about the idea of Co-Presidents
(not provided in our Constitution) but feel it might be better to
elect Doug as the President and make an amendment to the Constitution
which would be more flexible and less cumbersome; I would therefore
move a motion as follows:
"An amendment to the Constitution
"Vice President(s) may be appointed by the President for a specific
purpose for the duration of the current Executive." "
This means that, in the present situation, Doug (when elected) could
then appoint a Vice President (Meetings) -in this case Barry.
When a new Executive is elected in the next year, there is then no
need to appoint a VP unless the (new) President wishes to do so.
I don't know if anyone is willing to second this motion or a modified
version of it??
