[muglo] USB Printer

I am considering getting a low cost second printer.  I find that HP make a
USB printer Deskjet 656C currently on sale for $50.   It claims to work with
Windows 98 but no mention of the Mac. I thought that the USB port was
supposed to be 'universal' - does this simply mean that it could work on a
Mac USB but there is no Mac driver available??
