[muglo] Re: Transfer of Files

Here's an easy way to transfer an account. 

1. Get a 6 pin to 6 pin Firewire cable. ($5 at Forest City Surplus or $30 at 
Futureshop)
2. Start the eMac in Firewire mode. Hold the F key at start-up.
3. Connect the two computers with the firewire cable.
4. Go to the Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant on the MacBook and 
follow the steps. 

This will create a new account on your MacBook with the same account name as 
what you had on the eMac. You can always delete the original account after 
moving stuff out of it if you want. If the MacBook is Leopard and The eMac is 
Tiger, this is a good way to transfer everything.
