Hey Biti, I think that's a great idea. Should we complain about both
Sympatico and Rogers?
In fairness to Sympatico, as mentioned by Bill McGrath, things can be
worked out if you get hold of a supervisor at Sympatico. Over the
five years I've been with Sympatico, I've found there are a few of
the techs over there who are genuinely helpful. It's just the rep
help is inconsistent.
Should a group of us contact this Ellen Roseman, or should we appoint
a spokesperson? How about you, Biti, or Ted Medzon? Another
possibility might be Ian Gillespie of the Free Press. I know the
Free Press used to use Macs; don't know if they still do.
I always think it's good to speak with one voice, and not be
completely negative, e.g. mention that some of the Sympatico
supervisors are helpful. That is, rather than us bombarding Roseman
all at once, we appoint one person to speak on our behalf, with an
agreed-upon list of concerns? I'm sure it won't be hard to come up
with a list, just go through the archives.
I'm really pressed with a looming deadline right now (I'm having to
work right through the long weekend), otherwise I'd offer to do it.
Is there someone out there with some time who could do this?
I really don't welcome the hassle of switching from Bell and
Sympatico and if a little media exposure will cause Bell and Rogers
to rethink the direction they're going in, I'm all for it.
So, pls let me know. Thanks.
Leith
