I wouldn't say Toast 5 is any better at burning PC CDs. I never had problems
burning PC CDs with 4.1 whatsoever.

Make sure you burn ISO 9960 and use DOS file names (8.3). You should burn a
CD perfectly readable by a DOS/Windows machine. Burning with Joliet/Windows
name format should also work (I would avoid using the Mac/Joliet hybrid
format... one beef of mine with Apple: Windows has had long file names since
1995 and Apple's DOS access software _still_ doesn't read/recognise long
file names).

PS Toast 5 is well worth the upgrade!!! You'll wonder how you could've lived
with Toast 4 when you see how well 5 works.
