[muglo] To clarify

I¹m having trouble using some keys on the laptop keyboard as well as the
cordless Apple keyboard. I wanted to make a chart for easy visual reference
therefore the ³apple² depicted on the key beside the space bar would come in
handy. Perhaps someone can answer a question for me.
What is the key on either side of the space bar called and what is its
function? It has an apple and another image on it.
