I suspect Eric is correct. It is a sender issue not a receiver issue.  
By replying in the same format as the sender (check box checked) I 
guess that the '=20' gets inserted for whatever reason.  By replying 
with the check box unchecked you use your mail program preferences, in 
my case Plain Text, so the format issue is not transferred or continue 
with your reply.

Tee, I think you may have answered the question - you 'get' mail with 
the "=20" but you do not 'send' mail with the '=20' as Eric suggests. I 
think the answer is no in both our cases now that I (we) have unchecked 
that box!
