I would agree with this and support the idea of going ahead without  
any formal vote... I doubt if there are not many members who have not  
known him to some extent - I know that I have known him for so many  
years and know that he must have helped 100s of members over the  
years... with our membership of about 70, I guess, I would suggest  
that the amount of $100 rather than $50...
