I joined with sympatico when high speed first became available in 
my area before moving.  I hated their Access Manager as it caused

Just before I moved ISP was able to provide high speed service. 
Since I was moving anyway I waited until after the move to switch 
to ISP - no email addresses to change or anything - bonus!  The 
thing I like the most is the personal service I get when I call. 
  They know me and I know them. Toured the facility and all.

When I first started on the net in 98? I went with them - a bit 
more expensive but I liked the service.  After joining Bell I 
kept my email with them and just used Bell for the high speed and 
to get my billing information.  Other than that I didn't use bell 
stuff.

I tested my dsl speed the other day and I am consitently getting 
1000+ Kbps down (and about 150 - 200 up if I remember correctly).
