I've used Route66's Route 2004 for Mac. The maps are way out of date
and I haven't found a way to update them. The UI is slow, clumsy,
and not very 'Mac'. When used with GPS, the map display does not
rotate to have your direction of travel at the top like all the good
programs. It is more of a vacation route planner. Not recommended
for serious use unless it is the last resort. I'd buy a used PC
laptop and Streets & Trips before investing in Route 2004, or look
into a cellphone or Pocket PC based solution...
