Thanks to Gerhard and Doug for your suggestions.
I had set Back to my Mac up, but I never could get it to work although
I love the idea of being able to follow its every move.
One suggestion which I got from Undercover was to create two user
accounts, one with no password which would have no real data and a
second password protected one which would be the primary user. If a
thief got into the unprotected one, they would then be on the web and
the Undercover software, or back to my mac, would be able to help
track them down.
I really liked the Air and will likely get a replacement when the
insurance money comes through. My daughter's machine (a Windows laptop
running Vista) and she is thinking she will replace it with a mac.
Thanks
Tom
