I have an iMac FS and Mac OS 10.2.6, however, for the last 3 days, my
machine has been noticeably slower, both in startup and in my email. I too
believe that it is the ISP (sympatico high speed). I phoned them because it
couldn¹t find my POP server, but they said that there was no problem with
their server. I finally got it to work and got my email, but it is still
unstable. Sometimes is ok and other times I have to go to Internet Connect
and perform a Disconnect. Then, it usually works fine. I think that
sympatico has/had some issues with viruses and servers.
