[muglo] Slooow Computer

Just yesterday and today my computer internet became very slow!!! Mail 
could take a minute or two to get/send mail and sometimes several 
minutes!  With the web browser (Firefox) after several minutes it would 
not 'find' a site that I have often used!! I tried to solve the problem 
using MacJanitor and also Repair Disk Permissions!!  Neither of these 
has helped very much!!  Can anyone suggest anything else to improve the 
situation!! I am using OS X (10.3.9),
