[muglo] Re: Shutdown

Hi Tim, just as an FYI -- OnyX is nothing more than a placebo. It
doesn't actually do anything of note ;-).

As for your problems... have you installed any software? If so, what is it?

Fifteen minutes on shutdown is waaaaaaaaaaaay too long. This basically
means that an application/piece of software that is central to the
operating system is hung and is not being quit properly.

Was this a demo model? If so, then you'd have to reformat and
re-install the OS before you started using it yourself. Even if it
wasn't a demo model I would recommend that you format and re-install
the operating system.

Mac minis come with an in-built CD burner (or, if you splurged, a DVD
burner) so you can back-up your files.

PS How do you connect to the internet? And, do you connect to any networks?

Eric.
