[muglo] Re: Shutdown

You are running a Norton product????

Remove it, post haste!!! Norton no longer devotes its resources to the
Mac side of things so their software is buggy!

After you remove Norton*, remove Speed Tools CD as well.

There's a remote possibility that the two together interact to cause
problems: <http://www.macintouch.com/readerreports/macosx10_4_2/topic3699.h=

*No one can guarantee you a stable system if you are running a Norton
product. They made useful software for OS 9 (though, even there there
were varying opinions... probably depended on whether Norton was able
to fix your problem or not ;-) but OS X support has fallen by the way
side.

Nope, never been to the Loose Moose. And, as for the Eaton's Apple
store. "Been there. Done that. Got the (XL) t-shirt." ;-).

Eric.
