That works, Paul, but it does make ALL JPEGs open in PS — ALL, as in Every Last 
One. I want a routine that'll just operate on the photos in the particular 
batch I've just finished processing at TIFFs. There are other JPEGs that I want 
always to open in Preview, or even, occasionally, GraphicConverter.
