[muglo] Safari safe yet?

There were a lot of dismayed yowls when Safari 4 first arrived. It did those 
things that it ought not to have done and left undone those things that it 
ought to have done and there was no health in it, to judge by the response here 
and elsewhere. Has Apple beaten it into good behaviour yet, such that it's safe 
to install on a venerable PowerPC iBook? And all things considered, is it worth 
installing?
