Ummm. Ummm. Ummm. Can't remember. Check out www.versiontracker.com and
search for "spam". There's one package (seems like it's 20 USD IIRC) that
downloads the messages from the server and then you set Entourage to check
localhost and pick up your mail that way.

This is why I use "free" e-mail addresses for public stuff (I'll never post
to a list or sign up for information with my real e-mail addys... has kept
my real addresses fairly spam free)... hideme666@xxxxxxxxxxx on the
otherhand... now that's a different story. (Hotmail flags about 2/3 of spam
as such and lets the rest through to my mailbox... not too bad... keeps the
river down to a somewhat manageable raging stream).

I doubt they'll respond to that :(. Improved service is something that will
come to pass only if (a) volumes get so large that it eats into their bottom
line, (b) they get enough formal customer service complaints, or (c) ISPs
start offering spam protection for free as part of their packages so that
other cos will be forced to compete (I think it's coming b/c of b).

I'd argue spam discussions are relevant to *all* on-line computer-related
lists ;)

Eric.
