I find the crashing odd not to say that it hasn't happened to me 
but very rare.  What is unuser friendly about it.  All the 
shortcuts and lower end features I have learned in AW more or 
less work the same way in MS Word.

What complications do the ss & db add?  They are there if you 
want them but if you don't they certainly don't intrude in the wp 
(and I didn't originally mention the presentation, paint or 
communications modules).

All in all a heck of a lot easier to use than Word, Excel and 
Access - or more specifically the database functions of MS Works 
for those that don't require a really heavy hitter.
