[muglo] Re: Rogers and Apple to Bring iPhone 3G to Canada on July 11

The new phones seem to be reasonably priced so I don't see the
advantage to buying the previous generation but being soaked by
excessive data charges monthly would just rot my socks. The idea of
using just wireless hotspots is o.k. but I can already do that with my
iPod touch so just combining the cell phone and iPod in one device
would not be enough of an incentive to buy one. What really appeals
to me is to have access to e-mail and the web were ever I am without
having to hunt for a hotspot and I could see spending $60 to $70 like
they do in the U.S. for voice and unlimited data, I have read
estimates that the same thing would cost $200 or more north of the
border.
I guess I will just see what Rogers will announce over the next month
but I am not holding my breath.
