So you have two phone lines running into your house?
A fax is no different from any other phone call. If you are 'on line'
-- with a fax, modem (internet) or voice call -- you cannot receive a
fax on that line!
As for having two lines -- most of Ontario's population now has ADSL
service unless you happen to be living outside of residential areas.
Check with your service provider for alternatives because a high speed
connection would cost you as much as having a phone line + Sympatico
dial-up service.
