As many of you know, I'm new to OS X. I'm using OS 10.3.8, with Mail
1.3.9. I can connect fine using Safari, but when I try to send
messages with Mail, I keep getting the message: "the server
"mail.porchlight.ca" cannot be contacted in port 25.
I've checked and re-checked my configurations in the Mail account and
the Network preferences. Porchlight told me the outgoing mail server
is as above. I've tried phoning Porchlight twice, but both times
I've been put on hold. I'll try again later.
I've left a phone message for Paul Thomas because I know he uses
Porchlight with OS X, but if any of you happen to know why I'm
getting this error message, pls let me know. Thanks.
