All,
When I switched to using my Laserwriter Select 360 after using my Epson
Photo R200, it would print as though the page setup commands had changed to
something akin to legal rather than letter and even after redoing page setup
to letter sized paper, the problem would not go away. I say akin to legal
because the text shifts about a quarter-of-an-inch to the right of the page
and about three-quarters-of-an-inch downward.
Someone suggested the driver went "bad" and perhaps reinstallation would fix
it. The driver version as I said is 8.2 and came with the printer on a set
of floppies that my Macally floppy drive won't read. Discs that were read on
my old Power Mac are unreadable on the Macally unless they are reformatted.
Once that's done its OK. It won't read discs formatted on other Macs.. I'm
using a G3 Blue and White, which I bought used and the drivers were already
on it.
I have nosed around looking for ways to correct this problem until i'm dizzy
and can't remember where things are anymore. I activated the laserwrietr's
start-up sheet and can't remember how I did that even. The machine has only
printed a little more than 20-thousand sheets.
Any ideas?
Bill McGrath
