[muglo] Re: Powerbook 1400cs screen dim

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my son's  Powerbook 1400cs. It was not used
for about two and a half to three months and when I tried to use it
tonight it starts up OK, chime an' all,  but the screen is very dim -
the image is too faint to be functional. It's running on the AC adapter
(the battery isn't charged, but that was not a problem before). The
brightness and contrast controls don't bring the image up much. Any
ideas as to what to try?
