I think my argument

And I would agree. But don't call an integrated app garbage just
because you with your superior take on all things (which by the
way I value on the list - just look at the flurry of emails!)
deem it to be of no value - to you perhaps. For the average user
an all in one program is a much better approach than super sized
super duper Enstein, Plack, Pasteur, Boyle, Freud, Jung (which
science have I left out?) programs which can take forever to
learn & longer to learn to use well. Sometimes the sum of not so
great pieces ends up with a much better whole.
The problem I see with AW (oh and by the way I don't think there
was ever a version 1 of Clarisworks or 2 for that matter) is that
most people rarely if ever look at the other modules to see how
they can use them effectively. With the built in macro features
(one reason I haven't switched to OS X AW6 macros don't work in
that environment - Applescript is overkill to do what I need) you
can really make AW6 hum!! And speaking of Applescript - there
are a number of really neat Applescripts that can significantly
extend the range of AW in terms of automating etc.
N'uff - no more comments on this topic fropm me
Martin
