Well, neither of us knew our as$ from a hole in the ground. AW 6/CW1-5
have nothing to do with Apple Works on the Apple II line of computers
;-), and, MS Office certainly can't be based off it since Excel and
Word (on the Mac) predate AW/CW by at least 5 years!

This still doesn't change the fact that separate apps have
consistently provided a higher quality piece of software. 123,
WordPerfect, Word, Excel, Quattro Pro... these are the apps that will
go down in history. Apple Works, Microsoft Works, whatever are nothing
 more than blips on the radar screen of computing history -- they
functioned adequately but never did everything particularaly well.
