[muglo] Re: PowerPoint

I use the PowerPoint module of MicroSoft Office X. With PowerPoint
loaded I open the desired PowerPoint (pps) file. When the file is
displayed I navigate to the picture that I wish to save. When the
desired picture is displayed I move the cursor over the picture until it
changes to an open hand. When the open hand is displayed I select the
picture by clicking on the Mouse button (I'm using a one-button Mouse).
I choose Copy under the Edit item in the Menu Bar. To double check you
may switch to the Finder and scroll down to Show Clipboard to make sure
the picture is there!
Select a graphics application in which to display the copied picture (I
use Photoshop, but GraphicConverter would be a good alternative). When
the graphics application is open, select New under the File item in the
Menu Bar, follow instructions and Paste from the Clipboard. Under the
File item again, choose Save As ... then type the name you wish to use
and select the desired format, such as JPEG, and navigate to the folder
in which you wish to save your picture.

Hope this isn't just repeating what you already knew!
