[muglo] Re: PowerBook CD Problem

Hello Ian:

I have an iBook Clamshell running OS 9.2.2 and found that only by
taking out all USB devices, and disabling any USB device extensions,
and the CD burner extension, could I get my CD's read. In other
words, I had to create a separate extension set, unplug the USB items
(with the iBook off), and reboot.

I also ran into a problem awhile back where I thought it was my CD
tray, but it turned out to be an installation CD that was scratched,
and therefore wouldn't mount. I ordered a replacement CD and it
works fine.

However, it sounds to me your problem is more relating to conflicting
extensions.

Hope this helps.

Leith
