[muglo] PowerBook CD Problem

Hey Everybody ...

It's nice to read all of these familiar names ... I hope that you are all
doing well.

I have returned to the Mac world and between myself and my daughter Lana we
have two Macs ... Me an iBook 1.33GH 14" and she a PowerBook 500MH 15".

Lana's machine has only a CD player and we have only had it for a short
while. The problem is that it won't play all CDs ... I'm not referring to
home burned CDs at all but CDs from legitimate sources intended for
Macintosh.

The particular offender is an installation CD for a brand new HP printer.
The CD is specifically Mac version and won't do anything ... No activity at
all when inserted. The same is true of the install CD for her iPod.

Originally we thought that the CD might be faulty but it plays in my
machine.

Any help would be appreciated.
