Hello Dean,

Thanks for the suggestion re Store at iTunes. I checked and noted that there
were purchases which I had totally forgotten. However, those `purchases’ were
freebies yet their record was there.

Never click on a link inside an email that takes you to an account online.
Bring up a web browser, go to the site yourself and check there. I think the
days of obviously bad grammar in scam emails may be coming to an end which is
making it harder for us to detect. These email scams seem to be getting more
sophisticated, more polished, and more brazen.

For you Don, just launch iTunes and go to the store. You can see everything
you've bought there.

Hi All,

Received the attached Email which asserts it is from

iTunes Store <order@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

and in which I am supposedly charged for two items. Since I have never
bought anything from the iTunes Store, I suspect a phishing expedition.

So far, I’ve done nothing with the Email other than read it and attach it
to this note. In particular, I have not clicked on the part that reads

Click here to cancel this order if you suspect your
account has been hijacked or compromised

nor have I attempted to «Verify ID and Cancel Order». I have dealt with
Apple in the past, but NOT through their iTunes store.

Any suggestions as how I should handle this?

Thanks for your advice.
