If you think of it, we are providing ourselves with the perfect
example of why we need a forum rather than a list, by our debate
about it. To follow the "thread" of our conversation in the archives
of this list, how do we do it? The "subject" is the same but our
comments vary wildly. The forum would categorize this discussion
automaticly and if you aren't interested in the topic, you can ignore
it and go on to something you find interesting. With the list
however, every comment that crosses my desk as it were and has to be
dealt with individually.
I am in favour of the Forum.
I have used them for many years, and have them on the bookmark bar on
my browser.
If I am on holidays, I can come back and look at everything in my own
good time and respond accordingly. There is a lot less hassel with
the forum....Doug
