The PCI 802.11b cards I've seen were all simply adapters into which you
plugged PC cards (that may have changed). Check the web site of the relevant
manufacturer to see if they have official support.

Maybe your DLink AP can do bridging ;) and you could pick up the MR814
instead. Though, you should be able to pick up a bridge for a song now.
