[muglo] PC documentary file

I got a file from a documentary filmmaker who uses a PC and I can't 
figure out how to open it.  Maybe I can't with the software I have 
(QuickTime Player, iMovie, OS 10.3.9).

The file has file names like:

.wmv
.xml
.hmt

Any suggestions as to what app might open it?  Please let me know.  Thanks.
