The QuickCam will *never* work in Classic. OS X does not allow Classic
direct access to hardware so using the serial QuickCam is a non-sequiteur
(which is why OS X is so stable... doesn't allow poorly written apps to
crash everything else ;).
You're better off getting yourself a USB camera which will give you a lot
sharper resolution/higher refresh rate, and also OS X-native drivers. (plus,
if you pay yourself for the time you spend trying to get it to work in
Classic, you'll probably save enough by giving up on the project and
spending your self-earned $$$ on a USB camera :).
