Coincidentally, moments after I had sent my last message, the following
discussion about off topic discussions on another list serve to which I
s-u-b-s-c-r-i-b-e was posted. (I included the hyphens, because the word was
being interpreted as a s-u-b-s-c-r-i-p-t-i-o-n request and bounced!)
I've removed all of the last name less the first initial, since the name is
not relevant. This is from a group that generates up to 200 posts a day.
This is just to add some perspective.

***** This is a PrintOwners List Message *****
With John's permission, I'm posting his private message to me Friday
afternoon:
"For what it is worth the OFF topics on any day have worn me down and I am
dropping off as a consequence. These posts accomplish nothing, and change
nothing. If these people spent 1/10th of the time they spend penning
these emails and spent that time working on their businesses they would be
much better off. I have little respect for their opinions and I am simply
pissed off. Thanks for running what used to be a great forum.
John S.
FWIW, John's not the only one who has left the list because of all
the off-topic posts. Too many subscribers have lost focus on the
purpose of the PrintOwners list and have lost respect for other
owners' time. I hope you'll think twice this week before posting
off-topic messages to the list.
Bob
