Do some research into whether parallel actually works with OS X. If you
think serial is a headache on OS X (only the very first G3s that Apple made
supported serial (& they can accept USB PCI cards so serial support is
redundant... I'm half expecting that 10.3 will require 500 MHz+ or 16 MB
video to run... well, I am getting ready to upgrade to a Titanium (once you
go laptop, you can't go back to those pathetic excuses for a computer called
desktops) in the fall so that's a moot point ;) wait until you try parallel,
an interface which Apple *never* supported ;)

(for all the money you're likely to pump into this puppy I'd say it's not
really worth it... bite the bullet and get yourself base model Samsung or
Brother laser printer (which'll give you far better print quality than a 10
year old printer))
