don't know if anyone here has any experience installing OSX using
XPostFacto (for older macs). I bought an XLR8 G3 500 card, and had
wanted to install X on my tower. Seems to be going ok, but I hit a
snag with my old apple cdrom. X won't recognize the old 4x drive. I
don;t think there's a work around, but thought someone might have
experience of this? maybe
OTOH, if I need a newer Apple internal SCSI cdrom, does anyone have
such? Maybe 8x? (still don't know if that will work, tho). Only
looking for something Apple bootable.
pls email me offlist if you have a drive, and let me know price
if anyone knows about the XPostFacto stuff, pls post it onlist
thanks!
regards,
~Alex
