Hi Ken,
    I'm 99% sure there never was one, except for a few early iMacs,
which would be no good to you, unless you have an iMac.

    I have an 8.0 CD & a MacHome 8.1 updater CD, but first, a few
questions, why not upgrade to 8.6? It's recommended by all & sundry.
    Next. question is how is the Mac not recognizing the CD? Does it not
see it at all, or is it that it just wont start up from the 8.0 CD? Will
it read all other discs?
    Lastly, which model Mac?
